As of October 1st of 2023, a new invoice system regarding consumption tax will be introduced in Japan. In order to comply with the new rules, consumption tax filers must register with the tax office to become Qualified Invoice Issuers.
The registration started on October 1st of 2021 and will continue until March 31st of 2023.
