Running a Business in Japan: Social Insurance

Social insurance premiums are paid by insured employees as well as their employers.

Companies deduct a certain amount from the salaries of eligible employees for social insurance.

This includes health insurance, pension, and for those over 40 years of age, nursing care insurance.

The premiums are shared in equal portions by the company and the employee.

Regarding the amount of the premiums or if you need any support with payroll, please feel free to contact us.
